One of Sydney’s favourite annual events is back, with Cambridge Markets holding its annual Watsons Bay Summer Market on Sunday January 4th, from 10am – 4pm.

The market, now in its 7th year, is one of the biggest market events on Sydney’s annual calendar, with more than 10,000+ people expected to attend across the day. Held at Robertson Park, more than 150 stallholders will gather on the Sydney harbour foreshore for one of the best events the Eastern Suburbs has to offer.

This year’s event will be as much fun as ever, with an amazing selection of small stallholders including food, fashion, art, craft, jewellery, photography, toys, pet treats and accessories, homewares, plants, eco stalls and plenty more.

World food has become a big part of the market, with delicious eats from across the globe, including Thai, Vietnamese, American, French, Italian, Chinese and Turkish cuisines, and more, represented.

Cambridge Markets director Rebecca Starr said the market group was excited to be bringing the event to this picturesque location for another year, with an even better selection of stallholders than previous years.

“The Watsons Bay market is always a favourite event for Cambridge Markets each year and the summer market is a great day out,” Starr said. “We love bringing this unique mix of retailers, chefs, producers, artists, craftspeople, importers and traders to Watsons Bay. We work very hard to create an interesting blend of stalls so there is literally something for everyone at the market.”

Local businesses attending this market include gorgeous homewares from Frankie Rose & Co, handmade jewellery from Alrok and Nora J, delicious liqueurs Scylla Distilling Co, luxury dog harnesses and accessories from Chow Bella, an assortment of textured art by Jolly Art, as well as vegan and organic makeup products from LiliPani and handcrafted candles using real flowers by Amaree Collection.

World food vendors include southern-fried chicken wings by Wing It, authentic gozleme by Ottoman Turkish Gozleme, delicious burgers by Piggy & Moo, handmade dumplings from Dumpling Cheers and heartwarming gnocchi from the

Gnocchi Garden. If craving a sweet treat, look no further than traditional Dutch pancakes from Mr and Mrs Pancakes, TikTok viral churros from Mr Spanish Churro, Portuguese tarts by Natas & Co, or sweet and savoury crepes from Cut the Crepe.

“It is also a fabulous place to get together and sit and have something to eat and drink by the sea,” Starr said. “The February date is a great time frame for people who haven’t seen each other since last year to reconnect, catch up and have a great time in a beautiful outdoor setting. Bring a picnic blanket and your swimmers and enjoy a beautiful day out by the water at Watsons Bay.”

This family-friendly market also features a variety of activities for the kids to enjoy, such as face-painting, show bags, slime activities as well as glitter tattoos and glitter glam.
