As a Volunteer for the Santa Paws Charity Event, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of the event. This is a great opportunity to make a positive impact in your community and help raise awareness about animal welfare.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the setup and takedown of event booths, decorations, and signage.
Help with registration and check-in of participants and attendees.
Provide information to guests about the event schedule and activities
Assist with crowd control and ensure the safety and comfort of guests and dogs.
Help with distributing promotional materials and fundraising merchandise.
Assist with managing donation stations and collecting donations for Santa Paws.
Provide general support to the event organisers and other volunteers as needed.
Qualifications:
Friendly and outgoing personality.
Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
Willingness to work outdoors and potentially in variable weather conditions.
Passion for animal welfare and commitment to Santa Paws’ mission.
Previous experience volunteering at events is a plus, but not required.
