Detailed description
Set in the extraordinary landscapes of the Lower Hawkesbury River, Pearls and Plates Broken Bay is an unforgettable culinary adventure blending fine dining, a secret waterfront venue and the stories behind Australia’s pearl and oyster farming heritage. Guests will travel by boat to a private homestead with water-only-access where acclaimed WA Chef Guy Jeffreys will create a bespoke six-course menu celebrating local, seasonal produce including Sydney Rock and Akoya oysters harvested in these very waters. With perfectly paired wines and views of the river, it’s a feast for all the senses.

Hosted by Broken Bay Pearl Farm and two Australian pearl and oyster farming families, this immersive experience offers more than just a decadent lunch. Guests will meet the farmers, witness a live pearl harvest, and learn about the journey of Australia’s rare saltwater pearls, with the opportunity to take one home. Held on Friday 25 and Saturday 26 October 2025, this is a rare chance to step off the beaten path and into an extraordinary culinary and cultural experience you’ll be talking about long after the last course is served.
