When I became a mother, there were a few moments that made a home in my memory. The faintest wriggle from inside as I sat reading on the sofa. Dark, wide eyes looking into mine as she breastfed. A closeness beyond words. A love I could never have grasped before. And as a maternity and family photographer, I want to give you images with the same depth of connection my memories stir in me.
My sessions are relaxed, but with intent. I’ll give you gentle direction and guide you towards the best light, because beautiful art rarely happens by accident. But so often the magic is found in the in-between moments. A mother closing her eyes and taking a breath as she breastfeeds her child. A father looking out to sea, sand between his toes and his daughter in his arms. Moments so impossibly fragile they can only happen by themselves. My intention is never to mould your connection around my style, or create camera-ready versions of you. I want to capture you just as you are. Beautiful in your flaws, anchored in the moment, vulnerable in love.
