At Gowrie NSW Malabar Early Education & Care, we nurture strong, respectful
relationships with children and their families through our primary educator model.
Each child is supported by a consistent educator who builds a secure attachment
and a deep understanding of their needs, interests, and developmental journey.
Our play-based learning approach allows children to explore, create, and make
meaning of their world through open-ended experiences. Learning is guided by the
Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), embedding principles of Belonging, Being
and Becoming, and informed by contemporary early childhood research and
practice.
Our educators design programs that support children’s learning across all
developmental domains — social, emotional, cognitive, language, physical and
creative. Educators intentionally plan experiences that spark curiosity, promote
problem-solving, and encourage children to lead their own learning through
exploration and discovery.
Children spend meaningful time outdoors, supported to connect with the natural
environment and develop confidence and resilience. Our commitment to nature play
means we welcome muddy puddles, gumboots and raincoats as part of daily
learning.
Rated as Exceeding the National Quality Standard, our centre reflects Gowrie
NSW’s long-standing commitment to high-quality education and care since 1940. We
pride ourselves on being a welcoming and inclusive community where all children
feel safe, valued and heard.
