Little book lovers are invited to put on their favourite PJs and head to Lionel Bowen Library in Maroubra for a special Children’s Book Week Pyjama Party with award-winning author Debra Tidball.
Taking place on Friday 4 September 2026, this cosy evening event is designed especially for children aged 3 to 7 years, with an hour of stories, songs, snacks, activities and craft.
Stories, Songs and Bedtime Fun
Families can join acclaimed Australian children’s author Debra Tidball for a fun-filled celebration of books and storytelling.
There’ll be plenty to keep little ones entertained, from stories and songs to hands-on craft activities and snacks. Young guests might even be called upon to help Little Dragon get to sleep!
It’s a lovely opportunity for preschoolers and early primary school children to celebrate the magic of reading while enjoying the excitement of heading to the library in their pyjamas.
The event forms part of Randwick City Library’s Children’s Book Week 2026 celebrations.
