The Pav is back! Celebrate with us all weekend, 23–25 Sep.

Every corner of the Pavilion will be filled with art, music, film, tours and workshops for you to explore.

Bliss out to a vibrant selection of local voices. Hear roaring stories from local surf legends in the Yalagang Room, then attend a Dharawal language workshop for families and kids. Book in for a guided architecture tour or wander through the Waverley Art Prize exhibition. With over 40 events across 3 weeks, there is something for everyone at the Pav.

Join us for a night of poetry, spoken word, story and song, in a spectacular celebration of  Poetica’s 5th birthday, at the Pav.  Poetica Founder Miriam Hechtman, curates this unmissable evening featuring performances by poets and musicians inspired by the call of the ocean, including Mark Tredinnick, Daiane Moret, Ilan Kidron, E For Echo Band, Jessica Chapnik Kahn, Vashti Whitfield, Jr Grogan, Miranda Darling, Daragh Byrne and Erica Hacker. Find out more

Kids can bring whole new worlds to life in Shadow Puppets workshops led by the theatrical maestros of Matriark Theatre; get more technical in Behind the Curtain: Stagecraft and Design; meet enchanting characters from the best Australian short films in Flickerfest Kids; create their own mini-exhibitions, paintings and sculptures or jump into mixed media collage madness in hands-on art workshops.
