This International Women’s Day, Bondi Pavilion is turning up the volume with Amplify, a powerful live music event showcasing an all-female indie rock line-up in the stunning Garu Courtyard (northern end).

Taking place on Sunday 8 March 2026 from 4pm to 9pm, this free community event brings together some of Australia’s most exciting homegrown talent for an afternoon and evening of bold, brilliant music.

A Stellar Line-Up of Indie Talent

Curated by industry insider and rising indie-rock artist Lily Richardson, Amplify is designed to spotlight and uplift women both on and off the stage.

The 2026 line-up features:

  • 8pm – The Buoys (@thebuoysband)

  • 7pm – CLEWS (@clewsmusic)

  • 6pm – Cooee (@cooeemusic)

  • 5pm – Theeth (@unearthedtheet)

  • 4pm – Local band (TBC)

Expect high-energy sets, powerful vocals and the kind of electric atmosphere Bondi does best. With live bands and DJs creating the soundtrack, Amplify promises a safe, inclusive space where the community can connect, dance and celebrate the achievements of women in music.

A Free International Women’s Day Event in Bondi

Hosted by Bondi Pavilion, this free event is part of Waverley Council’s artistic program, which proudly supports the free expression of ideas. All artists and performers share their own views and creative voices, making the night an authentic celebration of female artistry.

Families are welcome, however the promoter recommends that parents consider whether the event is suitable for their child. Children under 15 years of age should attend with a parent or guardian.
