Halloween is getting ready to light up the dance floor! Families looking for a fun way to celebrate spooky season can head to Mascot on Saturday 31 October for a Spooktacular Halloween Disco Party, created especially for children aged 2.5 to 10 years.
Running from 5:30pm to 7pm, the party promises plenty of music, movement, creativity and Halloween fun. Best of all, parents and guardians attend free, making it an easy family Halloween outing.
Whether your little one wants to arrive as a witch, superhero, ghost, princess, skeleton or something completely sparkly, costumes are encouraged!
A Halloween Party Where Everyone Is Welcome
You don’t need to be a current student to join the celebration. The Halloween Disco Party is open to the whole community, giving local families the chance to dress up, dance and enjoy Halloween together in a fun environment.
And this isn’t just a costume parade. The 90-minute event is packed with activities designed to keep little ghouls and goblins entertained.
What’s Happening at the Halloween Disco? 🕺🎃
The high-energy disco floor will have kids dancing under the lights to party favourites, with plenty of opportunities to show off their best Halloween moves.
When they’re ready for something different, there will be interactive games and activities to keep everyone moving, playing and laughing.
Creative kids can visit the Spooky Craft Station and make their own Halloween creations to take home, while face painting will add the finishing touch to those all-important Halloween costumes.
It’s a lovely mix of dancing, games and creative activities, with something for both energetic kids and those who would rather spend some time getting crafty.
Dress Up Spooky, Sparkly or Completely Silly
Half the fun of Halloween is deciding what to wear!
Children are encouraged to come dressed in their favourite spooky or sparkly Halloween costume. Whether they’ve been planning their outfit for weeks or decide at the last minute, anything goes.
Parents, don’t forget the camera — there should be plenty of Halloween photo opportunities throughout the evening.
