Looking for an indoor adventure these spring school holidays? A new underwater world is surfacing at DigiPark Sydney, with the launch of Mystical Ocean for a limited time across the September and October NSW school holiday period.

The ocean-themed experience combines immersive technology, interactive digital art, creativity and play, taking families beneath the surface to discover colourful underwater environments and marine creatures — without getting wet!

And for families who have visited DigiPark before, there will be plenty of new ocean-themed content to discover alongside the venue’s existing attractions.

Dive Beneath the Surface

During Mystical Ocean, selected DigiPark projection spaces will be transformed into colourful underwater environments, creating plenty of opportunities for kids to explore — and for parents to grab some fun photos along the way.

The Infinite Train will also take passengers on a new journey through an underwater world.

Colour a Sea Creature and Watch It Come to Life

One of the fun interactive experiences for younger visitors is Magic Pen.

Children can colour their own ocean animals before watching their creations come to life digitally as part of the experience.

There will also be a new collection of 3D ocean animal toys available during the campaign.

Become an Ocean Explorer

Kids who want to take their underwater adventure a little further can add an Ocean Explorer Mission Passport to their visit.

The optional paid add-on takes children on an ocean-themed mission through DigiPark as they explore the different experiences.

Every Mission Passport also includes a collectible 3D ocean animal figurine for young explorers to take home.

Helping Protect Australia’s Marine Life

Mystical Ocean is being presented in partnership with ORRCA — Organisation for the Rescue and Research of Marine Mammals in Australia.

ORRCA works to support the rescue, preservation, conservation and welfare of marine mammals including whales, dolphins, seals and dugongs.

The partnership also introduces an educational element to Mystical Ocean, helping children discover more about Australia’s marine environment and why protecting our ocean wildlife matters.

Importantly, 20% of proceeds from every Ocean Explorer Mission Passport sold will be donated directly to ORRCAto support its work.

A Rainy-Day Option for the School Holidays

With spring weather sometimes unpredictable, Mystical Ocean is one to keep on the list when you’re looking for an indoor family activity in central Sydney.

It combines digital technology, imaginative play and creativity with an introduction to ocean conservation — and there’s plenty for kids to interact with rather than simply look at.

Mystical Ocean is included with regular DigiPark admission during the campaign period. The Ocean Explo
