Jacqueline Minors of Minors Family Law

Meet the Owner: Jacqueline Minors of Minors Family Law

Hi! I’m Jacqui, Principal Lawyer at Minors Family Law. We have recently opened a second office in Double Bay, and we look forward to serving the Eastern Suburbs community! I’m a mum of two balancing family and work life like many of you!

At Minors Family Law, we’re people helping people. We don’t take for granted that we are dealing with real people experiencing real, and sometimes very stressful situations. We never underestimate the level of complexity or emotion involved and support our clients throughout their legal journey, whilst being their advocates.

I have practised exclusively in Family Law since my admission as a solicitor, and have extensive experience in complex property matters, spouse maintenance, de facto relationships, parenting and children’s issues involving issues of risk, domestic violence, relocation and child abduction, as well as child support and child support agreements.

My goal is to help you reach a resolution without the need for lengthy and costly Court proceedings. If we need to undergo the Court process, I advocate deeply for my clients, recognising they are in a difficult time in their lives. I meet my clients with an empathetic and sensible approach.

I have also become an accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner registered with the Attorney General’s Department of NSW. I am passionate about assisting parties to reach sustainable resolutions that are focused on the best interests of their children.

If you need Family Law advice:

1. Book your initial consultation by calling us on (02) 8591 9702 or emailing us at info@minorsfamilylaw.com.au.
2. One of our family law experts will discuss your matter with you in person, or via phone or Zoom while assessing and determining your next move. Obtaining information regarding your entitlements and ways to protect yourself during a separation can empower you to make informed decisions and help you achieve a positive outcome in the future.
3. We’ll provide you with an estimation on a cost along with a potential time frame in which your matter may take to finalise. We’re a smaller family law firm with the expertise of a large one meaning you receive the same quality legal advice without the hefty fees, commissions and hourly rates.
4. If you’re happy with our advice, we’ll initiate the next steps in resolving the matter. We’ll be working with you to achieve a mutual goal providing you with full transparency and understanding every step of the way – we’ll never ask you to follow through with suggestions that you aren’t 100% comfortable with.
