The school shoes are scuffed, the term calendars are full, and your mornings are once again a blur of misplaced readers, half-eaten toast, and forgotten lunch orders. Welcome back to the school term.
As the post-holiday haze clears, many of us are facing the juggle: the 7am lunchbox hustle, the 9am Zoom meeting, the 3pm pick-up scramble and somewhere in there, the mythical task of deciding what’s for dinner.
That’s where we come in.
At Katering at Home, we’re here to help busy families take a deep breath and hand over the midweek madness, at least when it comes to meals. Founded by Kate White a chef and mum of four; this is food made by someone who truly understands what the 5pm juggle feels like. With weekly deliveries every Tuesday throughout the Eastern Suburbs and beyond, we bring fresh, seasonal, and utterly delicious food straight to your doorstep. Think: hearty ready-to-heat mains, family-friendly frozen meals, vibrant salads, sweet treats, snacks for school lunches, and pantry staples you’ll wish you’d found sooner.
Whether you’re a dual-career household trying to make time for family dinners, or a solo parent who just needs a little headspace at the end of the day, Katering at Home offers a menu designed to nourish without stress. Each week, you’ll find an evolving range of meals to suit every kind of eater, from picky kids to foodie grown-ups. And yes, there’s something for that mid-afternoon sweet tooth too.
Real Food, Real Life
This isn’t a diet meal delivery. This is real food, made by real chefs, with ingredients your body (and brain) will love. We cook the way you would if you had the time: think slow-braised beef pies, classic bolognese, salmon cakes casseroles and rotating vegetarian options that even the carnivores love. We also stock our shelves with local breads, free-range eggs, granola, and pantry basics to tide you over between school pickups.
With a focus on both freshness and freezer-friendly options, you can fill your fridge for the week or build your very own emergency dinner bank (parents, you know what we mean). No contracts, no subscriptions, just thoughtful, beautiful food when you need it most.
It’s More Than Just Dinner
We know food is emotional, especially during the term-time rush when time feels short and burnout is real. Letting someone else take care of the planning, shopping, and cooking isn’t laziness, it’s smart delegation. It’s self-care. It’s reclaiming 30 minutes at the end of your day to chat with your partner, read with your child, or just sit down and eat something that didn’t come out of a crumpled paper bag.
In short: it’s support for real life, delivered every Tuesday.
