Looking for a little midweek magic these school holidays? Waverley Library is sprinkling fairy dust and fun with a sparkly Rainbow Magic Party for kids aged 5 to 7 on Thursday 31 July from 4pm to 5pm.
Inspired by the enchanting Rainbow Magic book series by Daisy Meadows, this free after-school event is set to delight little readers and budding fairies alike. Children will step into a whimsical indoor “fairy garden” where they can enjoy:
✨ Face painting
🎨 Craft activities
🎁 Take-home party bags
🤖 Fun with Bee-Bots and Spheros
🧚♀️ Fairy-themed play and imagination
Whether your child is a fan of Ruby the Red Fairy or just loves to dress up, this is a lovely way to celebrate their love of books, play, and creativity. Costumes are encouraged – but not required – so feel free to come dressed as your favourite fairy, or simply come as you are!
This one-hour event is free, but spots are limited, so be sure to register early.
