As part of the much-loved Pound Paws Dog Day, this one-hour interactive experience blends creativity, compassion, and hands-on learning, all while supporting the amazing work of animal rescue.
Here’s what your little animal lovers can look forward to:
🐾 Adopt a Plush Puppy: Kids get to pick their own soft toy pup, name it, and proudly fill out a real adoption certificate—just like the real deal!
🩺 Vet Check Station: Under the guidance of Dr. Geoff Golovsky from Vet HQ, kids step into the shoes of a vet, performing health checks and learning the basics of pet care.
🎀 Create a Collar: From beads to ribbons and charms, children design a custom collar to give their plush puppy a unique style.
🏡 Decorate a Kennel: Using stickers, markers, and imagination, kids personalise a cardboard kennel to take home with their new furry friend.
📸 Puppy Photo Booth: Capture the fun with adorable themed props—perfect for making memories (and maybe a few Instagram stars!).
🎁 Doggie Bags: Every participant walks away with goodies and, of course, their very own plush puppy.
