Waverley Council invites you to Bondi Beach for a morning of quiet reflection to commemorate our First Nations community.

Waverley Council will be holding a 26 January Dawn Reflection at 5.30am at Bondi Beach to acknowledge the resilience and survival of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and their continuous connection to Country and culture.

The Dawn Reflection is an opportunity for the community to join us on the beach in front of Bondi Pavilion as the sun rises, for a morning of quiet reflection to commemorate our First Nations community with a Welcome and smoking ceremony from Traditional Custodians followed by traditional dancing from the La Perouse Gamay dancers and Jannawi Dance Clan. The event will immediately be followed by a breakfast BBQ in front of Bondi Surf Club.
