It’s time to dust off your reindeer ears, put on your party shoes and kick off Christmas at our annual free, family-friendly Christmas concert. Join Jayden Rodrigues, Benny Time, Australian Girls Choir, The Beanies and Justine Clarke to sing and dance in the spirit of Sydney Christmas. Santa will also make a special guest appearance. There’ll be craft activities, table tennis and giant Jenga and other games for the kids (and kids at heart). Work has begun to transform Wimbo Park into a clean, green haven for Surry Hills residents and visitors. The new public space promises to be a bigger and better improvement, providing more shade from trees and open space for Sydney’s growing communities. We’ll work in stages to minimise any inconvenience. What’s new Firstly, the size. Wimbo Park has tripled in area. After the Olivia Gardens apartment building was demolished to make way for the light rail tracks, the City of Sydney worked closely with the state government to ensure this space was retained for a new and more pleasant park….
