New Youth Recreation Area Coming to Rushcutters Bay Park This SpringFamilies with older primary school kids and young teens will soon have another reason to head to Rushcutters Bay Park, with a brand-new recreation area specifically designed for 8 to 14-year-olds expected to open in spring 2026. The new Rushcutters Bay Youth Recreation Area is being developed by Woollahra Council and will include a junior scooter and skate area, basketball and netball facilities, seating and landscaping.
