Are you a parent of a typically developing 1-10 year old child?
Have you ever wondered if the number of times per day or intensity of your child’s tantrums, engages in aggression is normal? Do other children their age bite or stay calm when told no? By understanding how common these behaviours are and type of challenging behaviour and adaptive behaviour displayed by typically developing children, allied health professionals who support children with disabilities or behavioural problems may be better able to create developmentally appropriate and child-centred early intervention programs.
