The 2024 Malabar Magic Ocean Swim is back on Sunday 18 February! We look forward to seeing a sea of swimmers back on the beautiful Malabar beach this February. All our regular swims will be on offer. Please choose from the 5km, 2.5km or 1km swims with some special Rainbow Club events available to our Rainbow Club children and support swimmers. Don’t miss the action on race day. Randwick and Waverley Councils promote Float to Survive message this summer

Randwick and Waverley Councils are joining forces again this summer to help reduce the record number of drownings in Australia by encouraging people to “Float to Survive”. Float to Survive is a pilot water safety campaign launched by the two councils last December (2022) in partnership with the University of NSW (UNSW) Beach Safety Research Group (BSRG) to promote floating as the best chance of survival for swimmers who get into trouble in the water.
