Bondi Performing Arts offers engaging Film & Drama classes, school holiday workshops, and performance opportunities for children and teenagers in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs.
Founded by Allison Butler and Nicholas Flanagan, our classes combine acting for both stage and screen in a fun, supportive and creative environment. Nicholas is an experienced playwright and television script-writer who writes many of the original scripts our students perform, giving children the unique opportunity to act in professionally written productions created especially for their age group.
Our weekly classes include drama games, improvisation, character development, film acting and stage performance, helping children build confidence, communication skills, creativity and teamwork while having plenty of fun. Throughout the term, students work towards original stage plays and short films, giving them exciting performance experiences and lasting keepsakes of their work.
We also run popular 3-Day Film & Drama Workshops during the school holidays, where children experience both film and theatre before presenting a live performance for family and friends on the final day.
Whether your child is trying drama for the first time, loves performing, or is interested in developing acting skills, Bondi Performing Arts provides professional tuition in a welcoming environment where every child is encouraged to grow in confidence, creativity and self-expression.
