ACTIVE RX PHYSIO is a hands-on musculoskeletal and sports focused physiotherapy practice located in Maroubra.
The Active Rx Physio philosophy is based around identifying weakness, inefficiency and potential sources of pain.
Our sessions are 1 on 1 and generally involve a variety of manual therapy techniques, education and guidance through self management strategies that can include strengthening, mobility and general body maintenance exercises.
We strongly believe that MOVEMENT is therapy and it should play an integral part of the recovery and rehabilitation process.
The Active RX team offer a wide range of physiotherapy services including:
- Injury Diagnosis and Treatment
- Massage – Deep Tissue, Remedial, Trigger Point and Sports
- Western Acupuncture / Dry Needling
- Active Release Technique (ART)
- Pre and Post surgical rehabilitation
- Mobility Assessments and Screening
- Musculoskeletal injuries – including but not limited to back, neck, knees, hips, ankles, shoulders
- Individualized exercise program
- Workers Compensation Cases & EPC (Enhanced Primary Care) Plans
- Pre and Post Natal Care ( Assessment + management of injury or pain related to pregnancy and in the post partum period)
- Women’s Health ( Bladder dysfunction, Stress urinary Incontinence + Bowel Dysfunction)
