Wildflower Connections is a local, independent speech pathology practice supporting upper primary students, teenagers and young adults across Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. Founded by Speech Pathologist Jess Harris, who has over six years’ experience working with young people, Wildflower Connections provides individualised support for communication, executive functioning, friendships, social connection, self-advocacy and growing independence. Jess has a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent young people, including those who are Autistic and/or ADHD. Her approach is neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based and collaborative, helping young people better understand themselves, build confidence and develop strategies that genuinely work for them in everyday life. Support may include organisation and planning, managing school or university workloads, expressing thoughts and needs, navigating friendships and social situations, relationships, and transitions to high school, university, work and adulthood. As a small independent practice, families work directly with Jess, with support tailored to each young person rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. Mobile sessions are available at home, school, university and in the community across the Eastern Suburbs and other parts of Sydney, as well as via Telehealth.
