Looking for a beautiful way to spend a spring Sunday? Watsons Bay Spring Market returns on Sunday 13 September, bringing more than 150 stalls, fantastic food, local makers, live entertainment and loads of FREE activities for the kids to Robertson Park.
Now in its ninth year, the Watsons Bay Spring Market has become one of the biggest markets of the spring season — and with its spectacular location between the harbour and the ocean, it’s also one of the prettiest.
Even better? The market is right at Watsons Bay ferry wharf, so leave the car at home and make the ferry ride part of the family adventure.
Plenty of FREE Fun for the Kids
This isn’t just a market for grown-ups to browse.
Families can enjoy a great line-up of FREE children’s activities and entertainment, including:
- Pony rides
- Kids games
- Arts and crafts
- Puppet show
- Giant bubbles
- Roving entertainment
- Live music
- EVDJ
There’s even the chance to win a cubby house.
With plenty of grass to spread out on, grab something delicious from the food stalls and settle in for an easy Sunday by the harbour.

You may want to skip breakfast because there’s an impressive food line-up waiting at Watsons Bay.
Try Japanese hashimaki rolled onto chopsticks from Rose Bay’s Hashimob, watch paella being cooked on site by Ola Lola or grab char kway teow from May’s Malaysian Hawker.
There’ll also be Portuguese tarts from Cronulla’s Natas & Co, Neapolitan pizza from Radici Napoletane, birria tacos and the hard-to-miss pink Mr Whippy van for an ice cream treat.
For the grown-ups, drinks producers include Port Jackson Distilling Co. from Neutral Bay, Millsheds and SoHi from the Southern Highlands, Finders and Bondi Liquor Co.
Meet Makers from Near and Far
With more than 150 stalls, there’s plenty to discover beyond food.
Some of the more unusual finds include eucalyptus oil hand-distilled on Ngarigo Snow Country at Jindabyne, beautiful objects carved from single pieces of Australian marble by L’ETAGE, Panama hats handmade in Ecuador, Trunkey Creek nougat and plant-dyed wool slow fashion from Manav Bunai.
It’s a great opportunity to discover independent makers and find something a little different.

We particularly love seeing Eastern Suburbs businesses represented.
Look out for mother-and-daughter jewellery makers from Rose Bay, Australian-designed swimwear from Vaucluse and handmade womenswear from Dover Heights, alongside plenty of other local and independent businesses.

One of the best things about this market is its location.
Robertson Park sits right beside Watsons Bay ferry wharf, making arriving by ferry an easy and fun option — particularly with kids.
Once you’ve finished exploring the market, you can extend the outing with a walk around Watsons Bay, enjoy the harbour and ocean views or find somewhere for an afternoon treat before catching the ferry home.
