After more than four years in the making, Sydney psychotherapist, couples’ counsellor and author Tatiana Salazar is releasing her new book, Loved! Finally. — Choosing to Be Seen, Heard and Validated.
Written primarily for women, Loved! Finally. explores a longing many of us know intimately: the desire to feel deeply loved while remaining connected to our own worth, voice and identity.
Drawing from Tatiana’s professional experience working alongside individuals and couples, as well as her own personal journey, the book examines the ways our earliest experiences, relational wounds and beliefs about ourselves can shape how we give and receive love.
At its heart is a question: What happens when we stop looking to another person to finally prove that we are worthy of love?
For Tatiana, the book has been more than four years of writing, reflection, rewriting and personal growth.
“This book is deeply personal to me,” Tatiana says. “There have been seasons in my own life when I have longed to feel seen, heard and validated. Over time, I began to understand that being loved well by others and learning to recognise my own inherent worth are not opposing ideas. We need connection, but we also need to know who we are within it.”
Through her work with her husband, Max, at Sydney-based couple counselling practice Let Love Happen, Tatiana has spent years supporting couples experiencing disconnection, conflict, betrayal and other relational challenges.
That experience helped shape Loved! Finally., but the book isn’t intended to read like a therapy manual.
Instead, Tatiana describes it as an invitation to reflect.
It explores love, self-worth, relationships, vulnerability and the stories women can carry about what they must do or become in order to be chosen.
The book’s subtitle — Choosing to Be Seen, Heard and Validated — captures much of that message.
“For so many women, the search to be loved can become intertwined with proving our worth,” Tatiana explains. “My hope is that a woman can read this book and recognise parts of herself in its pages — perhaps with greater compassion and a deeper understanding of why she has loved, reacted or protected herself in the ways she has.”
The release also marks the beginning of a new chapter for Tatiana as an author, with further work already underway exploring relationships and neurodiversity.
But first comes Loved! Finally.
The book officially launches TODAY 25 August 2026 and will be available through Amazon.
To celebrate its release, a special 48-hour launch offer will make the Kindle edition available free, with the paperback available for $9.99 during the promotional period.
After four years behind the scenes, Tatiana says perhaps the strangest part is finally letting the book leave her hands and find its readers.
“I’ve carried her for a long time,” she says. “Now I get to see where she goes.”
