Families of the Eastern Suburbs should mark their  diaries for the unmissable Newmarket Spring Fair. On October 8 and 9, Newmarket  Randwick will host a weekend of family-friendly fun, jam-packed with free and  frivolous activities for all ages.

Following the success of the Autumn Newmarket Festival, the event is back and  bigger than ever with live musical performances, artisan craft stalls, children’s  workshops, face painting, wine and beer tasting, and more.

Families and friends will battle it out in a series of lawn games, with favourites like  Giant Jenga, Corn Hole and Ring Toss. Parents can peruse market stalls and  discover new favourites with craft beer and wine tastings.

Together, parents and children can attend a series of Collective Body Mapping  workshops hosted by SPHERE, where participants will use natural materials to  express how they feel about their bodies and the world.

Or, for those looking to put their feet up, patrons can get cosy and take five in bean  bags peppered across the greens. These chill zones will be the perfect spot for  soaking up the atmosphere and enjoying an array of amazing performances.

On the day, Newmarket Randwick food vendors will offer a series of deals and  exclusive discounts, making it easy to grab lunch and make a day of it.

The Newmarket Spring Fair will be open from 8am until 8pm on Saturday 8 and  Sunday 9 October.

Newmarket Randwick is located at 162 Barker Street, Randwick.
